Welcome to Quantum Hardware and its Applications with Quantum Inspire.
This course will introduce you to the field of quantum computation beyond the theoretical aspects. It is designed for engineers, technicians, software developers, data scientists, professionals with a STEM background, students and quantum enthusiasts.
Using QuTech’s Quantum Inspire platform, the focus will be on the hardware of the quantum computer, its basic applications and the software tools required to run it. You will experiment and execute quantum algorithms using real quantum hardware and the various simulation tools provided by the Quantum Inspire (QI) platform. Once a brief overview of the quantum hardware and quantum algorithms that can be run on it is given, you will delve into the various QI tools, including cQASM, a programming language developed to operate on a quantum computer, and QI Software Development Kit (SDK), that will allow you to develop and execute your algorithms on the quantum computers developed by QuTech.
The course is a journey of discovery, so we encourage you to bring your own experiences, insights and thoughts via the forum. Our Community TAs will be available during working days to support you. We aim to answer all your questions within 24-48 hours.
